Klar fur Gesundheit

In joint sponsorship with the migration service of the Caritas Association of Münster and the health and veterinary office of the city of Münster , the clearing office “Klar für Gesundheit” started its work at the beginning of October 2016.

The goals of the clearing house are in particular:

• Arranging regular access to statutory or private health insurance for people whose insurance status has not been clarified.

• Improving the care situation for undocumented people by referring them to institutions that provide solidarity health care, and contributing to the conceptual development of a fund model or an “anonymous health card” or an “anonymous health insurance certificate”.

• The clarification and information of the actors involved (hospitals, doctors, health insurance companies, schools, etc.) about the legal framework in order to promote awareness of the problem and prevent wrong decisions.
