I consulted AMD on an issue of stress over marriage. After a year of emotional Abuse. I was advised to go to the police and given the confidence and encouragement. I was very afraid because I had only been in Germany for a year. After going to police , he threw my things out and stole anything good in the and even refused to go to Ausländerbeholde to renew my documents. I finally filed for divorce and for some reason he was given a divorce money for reasons I can't tell. but I am doing well with my Ausbildung. I got my permanent stay. Through this group I got to know my rights as a patient when my child was treated in a very prejudicial way at the hospital. I almost lost my Child. Other mothers reached out shared their stories and encouraged me to get a lawyer. One mother even showed me how she went about a similar situation. The Admin also sent me the links of organisations that can help I am extremely grateful our case is ongoing and though we won the first instance the hospital has appealed and we look forward to a positive result which Admins and members would be duly updated. I got a job through a post in the group. I was also encouraged by the Admins. I was grateful to the Admin for the career and ausbildung seminar where we learnt about writing a cv and also the Annekerunngs process of getting your academic certificates recognised. One thing I love about AMD is seeing African women like me successfully juggling motherhood and career and doing very well. I had been in Germany for 6 years prior to that all I saw were people like me working low income Jobs. It left me very discouraged and I looked forward to relocating as soon as possible due to what I have seen I recently had my certificates recognised and will be starting an ausbildung this year.

My Child faced intensive bullying in class. I was frustrated and helpless. Through various posts in the group I was able to vent about my situation. I got a lot of encouragement but I also got good action steps on how to protect my child, how to properly communicate with the school and the various organisations that can help. Although the situation greatly improved we ultimately decided to take my child out of the school. However incase of any such incidence occurring I and my family are better equipped on how to deal with it.

As a new mother I greatly appreciate the AMD Language Course it was the kick start I needed to be able to continue and I am currently attending B2 classes.

Even though I had taken a German language course I struggled with the confidence to speak. I was very grateful that the 2022 course is focused on speaking and expressing yourself. Thank you for this.

The AMD deutschkurs was very helpful for me. My husband at the time was very against me learning Deutsch. He will come and disrupt the class at my language school or refuse to watch the baby because at the time, I didn't have a Kindergarten place. I was distressed. When I started the course online he didn't mind because he thought I was just chatting with friends. I was able to get into a B1 course after and I appreciate all the help and encouragement. It was also nice to see mothers like me whose children around but we were stil learning together. Thank you AMD.

The AMD Helpline assisted me to get a Frauhouse and also I got some financial assistance when I was just beginning my journey from leaving an abusive relationship.

I was able to get the right information about my immigration status.

After being discriminated at work, I was dismissed for no good reason. I am grateful to begiven information on what to do and where to go.
